Carolyn joined Taylor, Chadd, Minnette, Schneider & Clutter in April 2017 as a senior-associate attorney in the firm’s Lebanon office. Practicing since 2008, Carolyn and has a strong background in business as well as in the practice of law. Most recently, Carolyn operated the Powers Law Firm in Indianapolis, Indiana. Carolyn will focus her law practice with TCMSC in the areas of family, criminal, and business law.
Education & Memberships
Carolyn is a 2002 Indiana University, Kokomo graduate. She earned her doctorate of jurisprudence degree in 2006 from Ohio Northern University Petit College of Law. In 2008, Carolyn also earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Indiana University, Kokomo. Since 2008, she has been admitted to the Indiana bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.
Family & Community Involvement
Carolyn has been a frequent speaker on law practice management, family law, and business leadership. Her passion for community involvement is reflected in her various leadership positions including Children’s Policy and Law Initiative of Indiana, Rupert’s Kids, Soaring Eagle Outreach, Inc., Sagamore Inn of Court, and the Indianapolis Bar Association.
Originally from Peru, Indiana and Kokomo, Indiana, family is most important to Carolyn. Her support comes from her husband and best friend, Mick, and daughter, Michaela. Finally, in addition to her family, community, and work, music is one of Carolyn’s core passions.
